Process Analyst – 12 month FTCAbout the team

The Business Process Management (BPM) team provides the framework, standards, tooling and governance that underpin process management across Pacific Life Re. Working as an internal consultancy, we partner with stakeholders across the business to analyse, design and improve processes, helping teams work more effectively while supporting operational excellence, regulatory compliance and strategic objectives. Working across functions, regions and transformation programmes, BPM plays a key role in ensuring our processes are efficient, scalable and fit for the future.

Role Description

As a Process Analyst within the BPM team, you will work with stakeholders across the business to understand, document and improve processes. You'll play a key role in supporting transformation initiatives by facilitating workshops, analysing current ways of working, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping design efficient future‑state processes. You will also contribute to the development of process standards, governance and documentation that help create consistency across the organisation.

  • Document and analyse current‑state business processes using BPMN standards.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather information, validate process understanding and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Engage with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to understand challenges, requirements and process objectives.
  • Develop future‑state process designs that improve efficiency, controls and user experience.
  • Produce high‑quality process documentation, including process maps, procedures and supporting materials.
  • Maintain process artefacts within the organisation's process repository and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
  • Support process governance activities, standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support transformation and process improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation.
  • Work independently to manage priorities, deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications and Experience Essential
  • Experience in process analysis, process mapping or business process improvement roles.
  • Experience working with Finance processes, such as Financial Reporting, Financial Planning, Management Reporting, Treasury, Accounting or related disciplines.
  • Strong BPMN process modelling skills.
  • Experience using Visio or similar process‑mapping tools.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
  • Experience with in financial services, insurance or reinsurance organisations.
  • Experience using Adonis or other enterprise process‑management platforms.
  • Experience analysing operational or process performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience working within governance, risk, controls or regulatory change environments.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in Business Analysis, Process Management, Lean or Six Sigma.
