As Senior Energy Trading Business SME at Publicis Sapient, you will bring deep expertise in Physical Commodities trading - across Crude, Refined Products, Gas and Power - and physical trading operations to help some of the world's leading energy organisations navigate complex business and technology transformation programmes. Acting as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, you will help shape future-state trading processes, operating models and ETRM-enabled capabilities across the energy value chain.

This role is suited to practitioners who have spent time inside physical supply and trading functions – in front office, operations, scheduling or middle office – and can combine that first-hand experience with strong working knowledge of one or more leading ETRM platforms.

Your Impact

• Serve as a subject matter expert across Physical Commodities trading business processes, spanning Crude, Refined Products, Gas and/or Power
• Bring practical front-to-back knowledge of physical commodity trading, including physical deal structures, deal capture, logistics and scheduling, nominations, actualisation, inventory, pricing, exposure, P&L, settlement, invoicing and accounting
• Help clients make pragmatic design decisions on what should sit in the ETRM core, what should be handled through enterprise platforms, and where differentiated business capabilities should be enabled through data, analytics or workbenches
• Help define future-state operating models, business processes and transformation roadmaps for physical and bulk commodities Trading organisations
• Provide expert guidance on how trading workflows, operational processes and ETRM platforms can be optimised to improve business outcomes
• Support design decisions on process harmonisation, standardisation, localisation and platform fitment
• Translate complex commercial and operational requirements into clearly defined business capabilities, process designs and delivery objectives
• Facilitate workshops with front office, middle office, operations and technology stakeholders to align business priorities and solution outcomes
