The OpportunityWe are hiring an Associate Partner to help lead the firm's work across Retail, Consumer Goods, Leisure & Travel, or Tech & Media. This is a senior role for someone ready to own engagements end-to-end, lead client relationships, and take a genuine part in growing the practice. You will work alongside partners on live mandates and play a real role in shaping recommendations for boards, CEOs, and investment committees.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial due diligence and growth strategy engagements end-to-end, owning the analytical approach, client narrative, and recommendation.
- Manage and develop teams, reviewing analysis and holding the quality bar across every workstream.
- Build and maintain relationships with private equity funds, corporates, and management teams to generate repeat work and new mandates.
- Own the shaping and delivery of client materials, translating market data into clear investment and strategic theses.
- Act as a senior point of contact throughout an engagement, coordinating internal teams and external advisors to deliver on time and to standard.
- Around 6 to 10 years of experience in strategy consulting, commercial due diligence, or transaction services, with strong exposure to one or more of Retail, Consumer Goods, Leisure & Travel, or Tech & Media.
- A track record of leading engagements, managing teams, and holding senior client relationships.
- Sharp commercial judgement and analytical depth, comfortable moving between market data, company economics, and the implications for an investor or board.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the presence to represent the firm externally.
- Degree educated in a relevant field. MBA or a top-tier strategy background (MBB or equivalent) an advantage.
- A senior seat in a highly regarded sector practice with a strong reputation among private equity and corporate clients.
- Real ownership of engagements and client relationships, with a clear path to Partner.
- Deep exposure within your sector and a wide range of transaction and strategy mandates, with direct partner-level access.
