Wealth Management Proposition Strategy

We are looking for a Senior Proposition Strategy professional to shape the future of our Wealth Management propositions and translate strategic priorities into practical delivery choices.

You will connect client needs, market opportunities, commercial ambition and digital capability to support a modern, scalable and client-led Wealth Management business. Working with Product, Design, Research, Data Science, Technology and business leadership, you will define strategic options, identify opportunities for growth and influence long-term direction.

This is a senior strategic role requiring commercial judgement, curiosity and the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations and aligned action.

You will establish a clear and compelling direction for future Wealth Management propositions, grounded in client insight and commercial logic. Your work will align stakeholders, inform investment and roadmap decisions, and turn emerging market and digital opportunities into propositions that deliver sustainable value for clients and the business.

• Define and develop proposition strategy aligned with Wealth Management growth priorities.
• Identify new opportunities for client value, engagement and sustainable commercial growth.
• Assess evolving client expectations, market trends, competitor developments and digital opportunities.
• Challenge established thinking and proactively shape the future direction of Wealth Management propositions.
• Translate long-term strategic ambition into clear priorities and practical delivery choices.
• Connect proposition strategy with product roadmaps, platform capabilities and feature-team delivery.
• Partner with Product, Research, Design and Data Science teams to explore, test and refine proposition choices.
• Evaluate strategic options against client needs, commercial potential, risk and delivery feasibility.
• Develop compelling recommendations, options papers, business cases and senior stakeholder materials.
• Influence senior stakeholders and build alignment around a coherent proposition direction.
• Monitor emerging technologies and business models, including AI-enabled services, to assess their relevance and potential value.

• Significant experience in proposition strategy, business strategy, digital strategy, product strategy, management consulting or transformation.
• A strong track record of defining strategic direction and translating strategy into practical execution.
• Experience identifying and evaluating new propositions, growth opportunities or business models.
• Strong analytical and commercial capability, including the ability to evaluate strategic options and trade-offs.
• Ability to connect client insight, market evidence, commercial objectives and delivery feasibility.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building alignment across complex organisations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear strategic narratives and decision-making materials.
• Experience working with Product, Design, Research, Data, Technology and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound judgement and the confidence to challenge assumptions and existing ways of thinking.
• Curiosity about evolving client needs, market developments and emerging digital models.

• Experience with in Wealth Management, investments, banking, fintech or another regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of wealth and investment propositions, client segments or digital wealth journeys.
• Experience developing, testing or launching new customer propositions.
• Knowledge of customer research, proposition testing and experimentation methods.
• Experience developing commercial assessments, investment cases or strategic roadmaps.
• Familiarity with digital business building, platform strategies or AI-enabled services.
• Understanding of the regulatory, conduct and risk considerations affecting financial services propositions.
• Experience supporting large-scale business or digital transformation.
