About us

We are champions of rail, inspired to build a greener, more sustainable future of travel. Trainline enables millions of travellers to find and book the best value tickets across carriers, fares, and journey options through our highly rated mobile app, website, and B2B partner channels.

Great journeys start with Trainline

Now Europe’s number 1 downloaded rail app, with over 135 million monthly visits and £6.3 billion in annual ticket sales, we collaborate with 270+ rail and coach companies in over 40 countries. We want to create a world where travel is as simple, seamless, eco-friendly and affordable as it should be.

Today, we're a FTSE 250 company driven by our incredible team of over 1,000 Train liners from 50+ nationalities, based across London, Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Edinburgh and Madrid. With our focus on growth in the UK and Europe, now is the perfect time to join us on this high-speed journey.

Introducing the Trainline Partner Solutions Team

Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS) powers the technology that enables Travel Management Companies, Online Booking Tools, and other distribution partners across Europe to sell and manage rail travel seamlessly, as we build the world's number one rail platform. We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Distribution product team, with primary responsibility for our Distribution Global API (GAPI) product suite, the product that allows B2B partners to search, book and service rail journeys efficiently and at scale, while partnering on the direction and growth of the wider Distribution portfolio.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our B2B business. You'll co-create the Distribution strategy with the Principal PM and own the roadmap for Distribution GAPI, while helping shape how the wider Distribution portfolio evolves to support TPS and our partners' growth, including scaling sellable rail content and market reach, strengthening partner experience and retention, and extending the flexibility of our platform.

In

this role as the Product Manager, you will
  • Define the strategic direction and own the roadmap for the Distribution GAPI product, contributing to the wider Distribution portfolio strategy

  • Understand the needs of TMCs, OBTs, and distribution partners, identifying opportunities to make rail seamless, reliable, and high-performing

  • Engage directly with partners, building trusted relationships and collaborating on experiences that solve real challenges and create measurable value

  • Define and drive OKRs and KPIs, ensuring they align with company goals

  • Lead discovery and delivery of new features, working closely with engineering, commercial, and data teams

  • Lead a squad of engineers focused on delivering best-in-class booking and servicing capabilities for partners and their corporate clients

  • Use data to inform decisions, defining clear success metrics aligned with business goals

  • Stay close to the market, maintaining an understanding of the competitive landscape in rail distribution, including emerging players and wider industry developments such as Great British Railways

We'd love to hear from you if you have
  • A track record of driving meaningful improvements and consistent delivery across complex, sometimes technical areas, while continually improving customer experience

  • Experience in a Product Management role within a fast-paced eCommerce, Travel, Marketplace, or Technology environment

  • Experience working directly with B2B customers or partners, shaping product solutions that deliver tangible outcomes and strengthen relationships

  • Strong product leadership skills, knowing when to push forward, when to pivot, and how to focus on the highest-impact opportunities

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including commercial, data science, UX, and engineering

  • Strong analytical thinking, using both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform decisions

  • Ideally, experience working with technical products such as APIs, and confidence collaborating with engineering and architecture teams

  • You may also have hands-on experience with Agile frameworks, including writing user stories, setting sprint goals, and tracking product metrics
