Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting strategic risk assessments and horizon-scanning exercises to identify emerging geopolitical, economic, regulatory and operational risks.
  • Advising Executive Committees and senior leadership teams on strategic risk exposure, risk appetite and decision-making in complex environments.
  • Analysing organisational dependencies and vulnerabilities, including exposure arising from the loss of critical assets, systems, people or third-party suppliers.
  • Designing and enhancing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks that support effective governance and strategic decision-making.
  • Developing crisis management frameworks, escalation protocols and executive-level response playbooks.
  • Facilitating senior leadership workshops, scenario planning sessions and resilience reviews.
  • Producing high-quality Board and Executive Committee papers, reports and advisory outputs.
  • Leading and delivering crisis management exercises and simulations for senior stakeholders.
  • Providing trusted support to organisations during periods of strategic uncertainty, transformation or emerging crisis.

  • Confidence engaging with Executive Committees, Boards and other senior stakeholders.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to work effectively with ambiguity and incomplete information.
