Full Time. Salary: starting between 30,000 and 34,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Hours:

Energy UK is the trade association for the energy industry, representing companies across generation, grid, infrastructure, and suppliers, and providing a collective voice to shape policy and industry practice.

Job purpose

This role focuses on the organisation and delivery of Energy UK’s events programme, coordinating and delivering a wide range of events and building positive relationships with members, sponsors and stakeholders to support engagement across the sector.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of Energy UK events, including breakfast briefings, round tables, dinners, parliamentary receptions, hybrid and online events, and larger-scale conferences.
  • Manage event logistics end to end, including venue liaison, supplier management, delegate communications, registration, speaker coordination, AV and production, catering and on-site delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams, members, sponsors and external partners to ensure events are delivered to a consistently high standard and provide an excellent delegate experience.
  • Monitor event attendance, feedback and performance, using data and insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and delivery of Energy UK’s events programme and strengthen engagement with members, sponsors and stakeholders to maximise opportunities.
Qualifications and skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and personable with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and multi-priority handling in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with planning and delivering hybrid or online events and managing vendors and AV is desirable.
