  • Lead and coordinate RFP processes, including developing timelines, preparing documentation, and ensuring adherence to Arup procurement procedures.
  • Develop and maintain supplier evaluation and scoring matrices.
  • Organise and facilitate supplier presentations and product demonstrations for key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers throughout the procurement process.
  • Coordinate activities across the wider project team to ensure procurement milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier selection processes, and commercial negotiations.
  • Oversee supplier performance and support contract management throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and external suppliers to identify opportunities, maximise value, and support business objectives.
  • Conduct commercial due diligence and ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.
  • Promote sustainability and decarbonisation objectives within procurement activities.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and other business functions to establish and finalise robust contractual agreements.
  • Contribute to global procurement programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a Procurement Manager with:

  • Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
  • Strong understanding of commercial risk, governance, and compliance (e.g. GDPR, data security)
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Focus on delivering measurable value and continuous improvement
  • Experience using procurement tools and systems
  • Degree-qualified and/or professionally accredited (e.g. MCIPS) preferred
