Our client is a well-established and growing international fashion supplier . They work with some of the UK's leading retailers and are continuing to expand, putting the right team in place to support exciting new business opportunities.
Production is based across Sri Lanka, Morocco and China, supplying high-volume womenswear collections including outerwear to major high street retailers. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing key womenswear accounts and ensuring products meet customer specifications from development through to production

Main Responsibilities will include :

Manage the technical development of designated womenswear accounts from sample stage through to production.
Lead fit sessions, providing clear technical comments and garment amendments to offshore factories.
Prepare and check samples, specifications and technical documentation for customer submission.
Work closely with factories in Sri Lanka, Morocco and China to ensure quality, fit and construction standards are achieved.
Build strong relationships with customers, working across accounts including M&S, Primark and Topshop.
Manage customer PLM systems and maintain accurate technical records.
Liaise with Design, Merchandising, QA and Production teams to ensure critical path deadlines are achieved.
Support continuous quality improvements and help minimise customer returns through strong technical expertise.

Person Specification:

Previous experience as a Garment Technologist within a fashion supplier or retailer.
Strong womenswear product knowledge across multiple categories, including outerwear.
Confident leading fit sessions and communicating technical comments to offshore factories.
Experience working with factories across the Far East and North Africa would be advantageous.
Excellent understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, fabrics and manufacturing processes.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
A proactive team player with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced supplier environment.
