About the Role:

The Team The Product Innovation team within S&P Global Ratings’ Commercial department engages with issuers, intermediaries, and investors to identify emerging product opportunities and translate market insights into new solutions for the Ratings business. The team drives both new product development and enhancements to the existing product suite, including the issuer platform Ratings
360, which provides issuers with workflow capabilities and a holistic view of their organization’s credit story.

Responsibilities and Impact Product Strategy & Innovation Lead high-impact projects across product development and innovation, shaping product strategy and prioritizing the development pipeline to drive business growth and maintain competitive relevance.

Analyze product performance and develop business cases for new product ideas, implementing improvements that deliver greater value to issuers, intermediaries, and investors.

Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Engagement Capture customer insights from issuers, intermediaries, and investors to inform product enhancements and strategic decisions.

Design market engagement plans to strengthen product positioning and support the commercial product organization in achieving its objectives and key results.

Team Leadership & Operational Delivery Mentor and develop team members, contributing to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Maintain project plans and status updates to ensure alignment and transparency, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to the credit ratings business.

What We're Looking For Required Skills and Experience An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, product innovation, project management, strategy, or consulting.

Demonstrated experience leading product development initiatives and successful product launches in a cross-functional environment.

Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to define requirements and develop business cases for new product development.

Demonstrated understanding of the credit ratings or capital markets ecosystem, and experience operating effectively in a regulated financial services environment.

Language requirements:
English — Required, Fluent (able to conduct meetings, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally).Preferred or Helpful Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. A higher qualification is an advantage.

Knowledge of product development and innovation methodologies such as Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, Pragmatic Institute frameworks, or Jobs-To-Be-Done.

Additional Information We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
