Landlord Compliance Coordinator Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (Office Based)

Until 09/10/2026 Pay: £ 14.47 per hour Join Manchester City Council in a pivotal role as a Landlord Compliance Coordinator within our Housing Services. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and compliance of council homes, focusing on various aspects of landlord compliance and building safety. You will be instrumental in delivering a resident-led housing service that prioritises quality, value, and resident satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:
Coordinate work programmes related to landlord compliance and health and safety, including mechanical servicing and repairs, electrical inspections, water safety management, and more. Validate documents in accordance with relevant guidelines and actively seek to detect and reduce fraud. Process customer requests and assist in the completion of relevant information in line with service processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.

Develop and improve management information systems to enhance efficiency and support service delivery. Proactively identify risks to customers accessing the service and escalate issues through the agreed channels. Work collaboratively with other services to develop effective partnerships and improve service delivery. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Experience in administrative roles, preferably within housing or compliance sectors. Strong understanding of compliance regulations and health and safety requirements. Proficient in using IT systems such as SAP/QL for raising orders and managing data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. Commitment to continuous self-development and improving service delivery. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
