Platinum Travel Recruitment are collaborating with a fabulous forward thinking travel company who are now seeking a highly experience Senior Africa Travel Specialist to join its team, hybrid working or remote UK based.

If you are from an established tour operator background with strong Africa tailormade sales experience and knowledge, keen to help travellers discover the very best of Africa, we would love to hear from you.

Senior Africa Travel Specialist Duties:

* Create itineraries across the beautiful Africa from the vibrant energy of Cape Town to the breathtaking wilderness of Tanzania, create unforgettable journeys across the diverse and beautiful landscapes of Africa.

* Building client relationships by managing each client from start to finish from the first conversation through refining ideas, designing itineraries, discussing options and making recommendations.

* Liaising with camps, lodges, airlines and other suppliers across Africa, making reservations, coordinating arrangements, resolving questions and ensuring every detail comes together smoothly.

* Strengthening supplier relationships, developing the Africa product offering, sharing destination knowledge across the business.

Senior Africa Travel Specialist – Essential Requirements:

* Extensive experience selling tailor-made holidays across Africa within an established UK based tour operator is essential.

* Well travelled throughout the continent – please include a travel profile listing destinations visited with all applications.

* Strong understanding on how to advise discerning travellers, manage complex itineraries, work collaboratively with suppliers and take responsibility for bookings from first enquiry through to completion.

* Passionate about Africa and continually curious to learn more.
