Demand Planner

• Strategically plan category and product type volumes based on growth plans, historical data, and market strategies
• Develop pre-season forecasts for vendor and material planning with Regional Market Merchandising and Commercial teams
• Lead demand reviews and analyse changes in current and future demand
• Challenge and refine forecast robustness
• Prepare transparent monthly buy summaries covering spending across units, categories, and customer mix
• Manage the buy calendar and complete checks before purchase order management
• Maintain inventory stability and optimise sales conversion
• Allocate stock investments with Commercial and Market Merchandising teams
• Monitor orderbook movements and adapt plans with Commercial and Customer Operations teams
• Monitor the trading funnel and recommend markdown and clearance actions to drive sales, protect margin, cash, and stock health

• Ability to analyse sales data, trends, and market research to inform inventory levels, pricing, and assortment planning
• Proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency with numbers, calculations, financial metrics, margin, turnover, and forecasting
• Clear and collaborative communication skills
• Familiarity with merchandising software, inventory management systems, and data analysis tools
• Understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach
• Strong experience in Excel and Power BI and/or knowledge of AI tools
• Willingness to travel to other sites for sales launches or critical stage-gate meetings

Demonstrates expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and sales analysis, utilizing tools like Excel and Power BI to optimize stock levels and drive sales performance. Strong ability to communicate collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align on market strategies and product planning.
