Noel Gay is looking for someone to join their thriving performers department, asMaternity
Cover. A passion for – and excellent knowledge of – theatre, film and TV is a must, along with a willingness to get stuck in and work fully remote but closely with the existing Agent on a shared list. You’ll need excellent industry knowledge and bags of initiative.
The role will include some or all of the below depending on experience:
- Working with existing clients with a range of skill sets (e.g. screen, stage, actor-muso, MT, comedians, writers)
- Maintaining strong and trusting relationships with clients
- Building relationships with industry professionals
- Providing support, advice and strategy on career progression and complex professional situations
- Job submissions and suggestions
- Marketing, including social media
- Keeping across key developments in the industry, including involvement with the PMA and Equity
- Invoicing and money chasing
- Ability to spin many plates across changing client schedules, projects and deals
- Detailed administration, including diary management
Although talent agency experience is a must,in an ideal world you willalsoneed all of the below, but we’d still love to hear from you ifyou meet some of criteria and are looking for an opportunity to hit the ground running:
- At least three years’ experience in a talent agency
- Broad knowledge of the entertainment industry, including agood working knowledge of industry standards and terms
- Ability to maintain strong partnerships with both clients and industry professionals
- Familiarity with Spotlight, Tagmin, Microsoft Office and Outlook, video editing software and other tools
- Clearcommunication skills andapproachablephone/email manner
- Efficiency and organisation, with a great attention to detail
- Negotiation, strategy and management skills
- An ability to multi-task and react quickly to ever-changing situations
- Ability to attend in-person meetings and client shows, primarily in London and occasionally around the UK
- A passion for theatre, TV and film
- A curious mindand utmost discretion
Additionally desirable:
- Experience of working with writers, knowledge of writing contracts
