Vice President As a Senior Market Data Sourcing Manager within the COO Global Procurement team, you will partner with business stakeholders across Deutsche Bank to support critical market data licensing requirements, including indices, financial data, ratings research and regulatory services from suppliers such as LSEG, Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P and Fact Set.
You will help deliver strong vendor management outcomes through skilled negotiation, cost discipline and market data product expertise, working closely with colleagues across Market Data, Legal, Risk and Technology.

Your key responsibilities
Support the commercial and contractual aspects of Market Data sourcing, including new deals and renewals, for assigned suppliers and services.
Build strong relationships with Deutsche Bank business stakeholders, Market Data teams and Procurement colleagues to support category objectives and deliver cost optimisation.
Apply business usage requirements, regulatory obligations, Legal guidance and Risk controls to assigned contracts.
Deliver negotiated cost reductions and cost avoidances, while identifying cancellation, rationalisation or displacement opportunities with business stakeholders.
Develop market data product expertise to support quality sourcing outcomes, post-deal system updates and stakeholder communications.
Uplift existing vendor contracts where additional regulatory terms are required, including DORA, ESG and related obligations.
Your skills and experience
Extensive Market Data experience, within a banking or financial services knowledge of the financial sector, key market data suppliers, and the services they provide across multi-asset markets, including Bloomberg, LSEG, S&P, Factset, Moodys and MSCI.Strong understanding of market data commercial and licensing models, including usage-based licensing, intellectual property licensing, enterprise agreements and application-based use.
Working knowledge of Calero MDSL or an equivalent Market Data inventory platform, including reporting, contract updates, service and user structures, and renewal due diligence.
Understanding of key service areas within MDS such as KYC/AFC business products and use cases, with the ability to challenge requests and assess budget and index licensing and how data and index intellectual property support business strategies.
Experience negotiating contracts that deliver favourable commercial terms, supporting budgets, cost-saving proposals and senior management presentations that articulate Market Data opportunities and product strategies.
