We are looking for people with experience in data analytics, including operational data analysis, financial modelling, benefits calculations and developing performance frameworks, witha view to supporting us to identify, develop and implement meaningful transformation with our clients and deliver better outcomes for people.
We are looking for individuals to drive delivery of tangible results working in partnership with our clients, within the local government space.
What would be expected of me as a senior consultant? Project Delivery- Leading work streams and/or small consultancy engagements within local government people services (adult social care, children’s services and education), embracing transformation with digital at the heart, and supporting engagements of varying scale and complexity.
- Leading complex client change transformation programmes / projects with a strong focus on delivering impact (improved outcomes) and return on investment.
- Interrogate adult and/or children's social care data sets for spend, activity, and demand (e.g. client-level financial data, case management system extracts, workforce data) to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.
- Using data, analysis and problem solving to address challenges, develop insights and communicate compelling messages.
- Taking a key role in preparation and delivery of client workshops, meetings and presentations.
- Building and refining demand and cost trajectories, using historical data and demographic/demand drivers to model future spend and activity under different scenarios.
- Ensuring all deliverables produced meet or exceed client expectations.
- Working effectively within, and supporting the development of, high performing delivery teams.
- Developing and nurturing key client relationships, being trusted by clients.
- Managing stakeholder expectations proactively.
- Utilising area(s) of specialism to enhance delivery.
- Building expertise and knowledge of the local government people services space and digital sectors, with awareness of the wider markets Channel 3 supports.
- Supporting the creation of new methodologies in keeping with technological advances.
- Supporting the senior leadership team with key accounts and developing new clients.
- Contributing to new sales leads and helping convert them into opportunities.
We would like to hear from candidate(s) who have:
- Experience working on change and transformation projects in local government.
- Robust consulting skills and capabilities, with a focus on the role of data in identifying and implementing change
- This could include working with finance, performance and operational stakeholders to: analyse financial and operational data to identify areas for focus, develop financial projections, develop and implement benefits models, develop performance frameworks with the associated dashboards and governance.
