The Business Architecture & Integration (BA&I) team, part of the Portfolio & Governance Office reporting to our CIO, is at the forefront of shaping and delivering transformative strategies that power Springer Nature's success. We are a dynamic group of forward-thinkers, strategists, and analysts who collaborate across the organisation to unlock opportunities, optimise processes, and drive meaningful change. As a key player in enterprise-level transformation, we bridge the gap between business aspirations and technology solutions.

As a Business Architect, you will work at the enterprise level across the entire Technology organisation, aligning business aspirations with technology execution. Reporting to the Director of Business Architecture & Integration, you will drive immediate strategic initiatives while helping to mature and shape the long-term business architecture practice. You will collaborate closely with senior business and technology leaders to proactively and holistically help and guide the enterprise through transformation and optimisation initiatives, supporting the formulation of business strategy, outcomes and capabilities - shaping operating models, supporting investment decisions, and creating clear, actionable views of the business to enable transformation.

The environment is fast-paced, evolving, and full of opportunity - and you will need to thrive in ambiguity, navigate complex hierarchies, and influence without authority. The core objectives of the Business Architecture team are to help the organisation achieve targeted business outcomes related to growing revenue, optimising costs, and mitigating risks.
