Transform is a fresh alternative to Big Consulting. As an end-to-end transformation partner, we define, design, build and operate systems that solve our clients’ toughest challenges and seize their biggest opportunities. That often means combining strategy, data, AI, technology, and change management. Sometimes we manage and operate the systems we create; other times, we hand it over for the client to run – standing by to make improvements when things change.

It all comes down to making an impact: improving lives, supporting citizens, streamlining workflows, and making the world a better place. We specialise in public sector and public-facing organisations—from government agencies and local authorities to energy, utilities, transportation and healthcare. We also work for some of the world’s most dynamic brands across automotive, retail, financial services, and consumer goods. We work closely (often on site) with our clients;

to deliver impact you are keen to help us build the workforce of the future, we should talk.

We’re all in! That's what gets us out of bed every day.

Senior Product Manager

Location:

London or Manchester

We are looking for a Senior Consultant Product Manager to join our Product & Delivery team.

As a Senior Consultant PM, you’ll lead product teams within some of the UK’s largest organisations, helping them set strategic direction and adopt modern product practices. You’ll be part of a growing team in Manchester or London. You will work across a variety of projects in the public and private sectors, often operating in complex or ambiguous environments where the right problem or direction isn’t immediately clear.

You’ll set the example for how to deliver effective product management, shaping strategy, turning organisational ambition into clear product outcomes, and advising and constructively challenging stakeholders at all levels.

As a senior consultant, you’ll build trusted relationships with clients, bring clarity to difficult product decisions and create alignment across senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll combine evidence with strong product judgement, helping organisations move from assumptions and ideas to validated problems, outcomes and solutions.

Within Transform, you’ll also play a key role in growing and shaping our product community, supporting colleagues to adopt a product mindset, raising the quality of our product craft, strengthening how we approach opportunities like AI and emerging technology, and contributing to how we package and develop new work.

You will need to show a passion for what you’ve done and pride in your achievements. We’re a team with a growth mindset, so we look for people who are curious, comfortable challenging their own assumptions, want to keep developing their craft and actively help others progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of products that balance user needs, business objectives and technology opportunities, using evidence and product judgement to drive value.
  • Define and measure product success through meaningful outcomes, metrics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with research, design, analysis and engineering teams to provide product leadership and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Manage products across the full lifecycle, from discovery and validation through delivery, scaling, iteration and retirement.
  • Develop and communicate compelling product visions, strategies and roadmaps that align organisational goals, user needs and technology opportunities.
  • Drive prioritisation and decision-making, helping clients understand trade-offs and focus investment on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous discovery and learning through research, data, experimentation, prototyping and testing.
  • Leverage modern tools and technologies, including AI where appropriate, to accelerate discovery, analysis and product development.
  • Work effectively with technical teams, applying sufficient understanding of technology, architecture and data to make informed product decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, influencing stakeholders, challenging assumptions and strengthening product capability and outcome-focused thinking.
  • Contribute to the Product Community of Practice through knowledge sharing, coaching, capability building and continuous improvement of product approaches.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Significant product management experience across multiple stages of the product lifecycle, adapting approach and leadership style to the needs of each phase.
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies that balance user needs, business goals, technology constraints and long-term value.
  • Strong problem-solving and product judgement skills, bringing clarity and direction to complex or ambiguous challenges using evidence and insight.
