Ecommerce Operations Manager

A global fashion retailer is looking for an ecommerce operations manager to own the operational health of their custom built ecommerce platform: watching how it behaves in live trading, catching problems early, and making sure orders move cleanly from checkout to the customer's door.

This is a monitoring and problem-solving role rather than a content one. You'll keep eyes on dashboards, alerts, and error queues across the order lifecycle, payments, stock feeds, and integrations with our warehouse and carrier partners. When something breaks or drifts, you'll investigate it, work out the commercial impact, and either resolve it through the tools available to you or hand it to engineering with the detail they need to act quickly.

You'll run the operational side of launches, sale events, and peak trading, and you'll be the point of contact for merchandising, customer service, and logistics when they need to understand what the platform is doing and why.

They're looking for someone with solid ecommerce operations experience, ideally in fashion, retail, or another high volume environment. SQL experience is a strong advantage: much of this role involves querying our data directly to confirm what's actually happening rather than relying on a dashboard summary, and being able to write your own queries will make you far more effective. You'll need genuine attention to detail, the confidence to prioritise sensibly when several issues land at once, and the communication skills to translate a technical problem into commercial terms for non technical colleagues.

In return, the company will offer £75,000 plus a bonus package. There is hybrid working in place where you will work 3 days a week from their London office.
