Our London office plays a critical role in that strategy, and we're looking for a talented Senior Analyst, Vendor Relationships UK to join our growing Investment Operations & Reporting International team.
Your New Role Reporting to the Manager, Vendor Relationships UK, you will play a critical role in managing Australian Super's relationships with key third-party investment service providers across our international operations.
Working closely with stakeholders across Investments, Operations, Technology, Risk and related services teams, you will help ensure vendors consistently deliver high-quality services that support Australian Super's investment activities and strategic objectives. This includes custodians, market data providers, investment platform vendors and other strategic partners.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine vendor relationship management, commercial oversight, operational governance and market data expertise within a highly collaborative global investment environment.
Key Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Managing strategic relationships with third-party providers in line with Australian Super's Third Party Management Framework.
Establishing and leading governance forums, service reviews and performance discussions with key vendors.
Monitoring vendor service performance, data quality, SLA delivery, operational issues and associated risks.
Managing end-to-end market data provision, entitlement administration, contract management and vendor relationships.
Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand current and future vendor requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Acting as an escalation point for vendor-related issues and driving resolution outcomes.
Overseeing vendor-led change initiatives to ensure delivery against agreed priorities and business outcomes.
Collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to vendor management across regions.
Identifying opportunities to leverage new vendor services, products and technology capabilities.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Governance, Risk & Compliance Supporting vendor due diligence and risk assessment activities.
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, commercial agreements and relevant policies.
Managing third-party risks in accordance with Australian Super's Risk Management Framework.
Supporting assurance reviews and audits involving strategic vendors.
Monitoring industry, regulatory and vendor-related developments and communicating relevant impacts to stakeholders.
Financial & Commercial Management Supporting contract negotiation, renewals and commercial management activities.
Maintaining vendor inventories, procurement activities and commercial documentation.
Managing purchase orders, invoicing, reconciliations and budget reporting.
Identifying opportunities to improve value for money and cost efficiencies across vendor relationships.
What You'll Need Essential Significant experience within investment operations, vendor management, custody services or investment management environments.
Experience managing third-party supplier relationships and service delivery frameworks.
Experience administering and managing market data services.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to challenge constructively and drive positive outcomes.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management capabilities.
Experience documenting business processes, operational procedures and service level agreements.
Collaborative approach with a strong focus on relationship building and service excellence.
Desirable Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
Knowledge of investment management products, services and operational processes.
Experience working with multiple market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Fact Set, ICE or RIMES.Strong understanding of market data licensing, commercial agreements and compliance obligations.
Experience maintaining market data inventories and governance systems.
Ability to operate effectively in changing and evolving environments.
