Duties of the Assistant Bodyshop Manager:

Audit and quality-check estimators' work, including repair costs, labour hours, and repair values
Monitor and improve estimating accuracy and overall commercial performance
Support workshop control and front-of-house teams with work prioritisation
Provide data insights to enhance operational efficiency
Act as a key link between estimating, workshop, and customer service teams
Contribute to daily operations and process improvements within the body shop

Requirements of the Assistant Bodyshop Manager:

Proven experience in motor vehicle estimating within the accident repair or body shop environment
Strong ability to audit and review estimates, coaching colleagues to improve standards
Desirable experience in workshop control, front-of-house operations, or team management
Commercial awareness with a keen eye for process and detail
Ability to adapt quickly and support the existing management team
Professional, proactive, with excellent communication skills
