Salary: £50,700 - £56,314 per annumYou’ll be part of the Commercial & Customer team within BA Cityflyer, leading the end-to-end catering and onboard product proposition, supporting a varied and fast-moving area of the business.
This is a highly visible role at the heart of the customer experience, responsible for ensuring our onboard proposition is delivered safely, consistently and commercially. You’ll work across a broad network of internal and external stakeholders, from our catering provider and airport teams to crew, operations and suppliers, helping to shape an onboard experience that reflects the BA Cityflyer brand while ensuring safe, reliable and commercially effective delivery.
What you’ll do:- Own and continuously improve BA Cityflyer's onboard catering and product proposition across customer, crew and charter operations.
- Lead supplier performance against agreed SLAs, service standards and commercial outcomes, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Analyse operational, customer and commercial performance data to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
- Manage menus, onboard products and catering initiatives that enhance the customer experience while delivering operational efficiency and value.
- Lead and support catering-related projects from concept through implementation and benefit realisation.
- Manage food safety, hygiene standards, audits, compliance actions and associated governance processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with catering providers, airport teams, crew and operational stakeholders.
- Support procurement, tendering and contract management activities, ensuring suppliers deliver against business requirements.
- Provide operational support, escalation management and out-of-hours support when required.
- Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple teams and partners.
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer experience, operational performance and cost management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, using data and insight to drive decisions.
- Experience leading projects and delivering change in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively and build effective relationships at all levels.
