Essential Skills/
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in product management or strategy consulting, including meaningful exposure to product development
Background in banking or fintech
Experience leading and delivering process improvement initiatives
Client-facing and commercial experience, including product strategy and sales support
High level of digital capability, including experience with digital platforms and payments
Knowledge of Swift and/or high value payment schemes
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cross-border payments, including commercial or P&L responsibility
Product leadership experience within payments, banking, or fintech
Deep expertise in payments and fintech/ bank strategy, execution, or innovation

This role is based in London.

Design, build and manage Clearing payment products that meet the needs of our Financial Institution and Fin Tech clients. You will own the P&L and strategy for your products, and proactively manage the risk and control agenda. By effectively engaging with stakeholders and clients, you will set the product roadmap for your Clearing products, and ensure it is delivered based on well‑founded priorities and requirements.
We’re looking for a product minded VP who writes clearly, thinks structurally, and drives outcomes with cross functional teams. Experience with Clearing products for Financial Institutions or Fin Tech is a plus, but we are also looking for people with more generic experience.
Purpose of the roleTo develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.
Accountabilities- Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.
- Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.
- Response to customer inquiries,resolution of issues,and provision of guidance on product usage..
- Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers,building trust and encouraging adoption.
- Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product,such as brochures,presentations,and online content.
- Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Participation in events,conferences,and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.
- To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and elevate breaches of policies/procedures..
