Partnership Project Intern ( Shop Spain

Responsibilities

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. Tik Tok Shop is an innovative new commerce platform that is redefining the way people discover and shop online.

Through seamless in-app shopping experiences, we enable sellers, creators, and communities to drive real commercial value. The MAI (Merchant Acquisition & Incubation) team's primary objective is to onboard sellers at scale and incubate them to the next level of growth through scalable initiatives in the Spain market. As a Partnership Intern, you will support partner operations, including financial settlement, product requirements, and process optimization, to enhance partner and merchant experience through structured, data-driven improvements.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

• Support partner financial settlement, including reconciliation, invoice preparation, payment tracking and handling of exceptions or discrepancies.
• Ability to pitch a clear, repeatable value proposition for why it makes sense for them to bring sellers to Tik Tok Shop, without needing to turn all of those agencies into full Tik Tok Shop Partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with local operations, partner teams, and agencies to support seller acquisition initiatives — helping coordinate outreach campaigns, share data insights, and track progress from planning to execution.
• Assist with onboarding new partners and supporting commercial discussions: prepare materials, consolidate meeting notes, compare key terms and follow up on internal approvals and contract execution.
• Perform additional ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English. Spanish is required to collaborate with external partners based in Spain. English is required for international partner collaboration and collaboration with internal teams.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree.
• Proficient in Excel for data extraction and processing.
• Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment, working effectively with stakeholders across teams.
• Solid logical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and external partners, clearly conveying ideas and aligning stakeholders.

• Internship or project experience in e‑commerce or a fast‑growing internet business.
• Fast learner with a proactive and resilient mindset; able to perform well in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly.
