Product Manager - BPL- FTC

Join us as a Product Manager- BPL – 12 month FTC to be part of the activation value stream - joining our talented group of Product Managers- each Product Manager will be responsible for a key surface within activation.

You will work with engineers, marketing, finance, platform stakeholders, designs- lead planning, user story creation, bringing people to delivery and then launch the product.

Aa Product Manager will be responsible for increasing customers and be at core of business strategy. This opportunity is high impact with high visibility and you will be working with a lot of talented individuals

To be successful as a Product Manager
-12 month FTC, you must have the following essential skills;

• Experience working with software engineering teams as a Product Manager
• Demonstrable experience delivering customer-facing digital products
• Excellent understanding of product management fundamentals with a clear bias towards customer outcomes

Some other highly valued skills may include;

• Expertise in designing or optimising self-service onboarding journeys or website pages
• Experience running tests, experiments, and using data to make decisions
• Prior experience in launching and iterating digital products in a live environment

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills

The successful candidate will be based in London
. Our offices are located at 1 Churchill Place and 7 Westferry Circus (new BPL office). We support a hybrid working pattern with 3 days per week office-based presence expected.

Barclays’ payments acceptance business provides critical infrastructure to the UK economy, processing billions of pounds of payments annually for both small businesses and domestic and international corporate clients.

Barclays will invest approximately £400m in the new business, the majority of which will be incurred during the first three years. Performance-linked incentives will drive greater alignment between the partners, underpinning the long-term commitment to the transformation. Barclays and Brookfield will work to create a standalone entity over time, continuing to use the Barclaycard Payments (BPL) brand and acting as the sole payments’ acceptance services provider to Barclays’ clients for a minimum of ten years.
