Teya builds a financial platform for local businesses across Europe, providing simple tools, thoughtful design, and human support for cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and other entrepreneurs.

• Own complex analytical and business problems from definition through delivery, structuring ambiguous questions into hypotheses, analytical approaches, and recommendations;
• Build models and analytical frameworks from first principles, defining the required data, methodology, and assumptions;
• Build and maintain Net Present Value, unit economics, and customer lifetime value models across credit, acquiring, and business account products;
• Analyze customer behavior, product performance, and portfolio economics to identify value drivers and improvement opportunities;
• Use SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets;
• Design, implement, and analyze experiments, including A/B tests, holdouts, and natural experiments;
• Challenge existing models, assumptions, and methodologies against real-world performance;
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and analytical frameworks for performance monitoring;
• Partner with Product, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, and Growth to translate analysis into commercial, product, and strategic decisions;
• Identify data gaps, analytical limitations, and opportunities to improve business measurement;
• Communicate complex analysis and present business-critical insights to senior stakeholders and leadership teams;
• Take ownership of projects with a high degree of autonomy, aligning stakeholders around a clear analytical approach and outcome;
• Support analytical capability across the wider team through methodologies, knowledge sharing, and analytical standards.

• 3+ Years' experience in business analytics, credit analytics, valuations, strategy, customer analytics, or a similarly data-driven environment;
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline;
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience using Python for data analysis and modelling;
• Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous business problems using a systematic, hypothesis-driven approach;
• Experience building analytical models or frameworks from scratch, including methodology, data, and assumptions;
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to connect analysis to business performance, strategic priorities, and decision-making;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders;
• Comfortable presenting analytical findings to senior leadership and shaping strategic discussions with data;
• Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to take ownership through project completion;
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams;
• Nice to have:
  Advanced degree, familiarity with lending economics including expected loss, risk-adjusted returns, cohort repayment curves, NPV, or customer lifetime value.
