Chief of Staff

• Provide strategic support to senior executives, including business strategy development and execution, research, analysis, and delegated representation
• Manage colleague engagement planning, communication channels, and coordination across departments and teams
• Manage key projects and strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and provide executive updates
• Improve operational efficiency by identifying improvements, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices
• Develop performance reporting and analyze metrics to drive performance
• Support financial planning, forecasting, cost management, budget management, and performance monitoring
• Support resourcing, talent development, succession planning, mentorship, leadership development, and diversity initiatives
• Support risk and control oversight, escalation, crisis management, risk mitigation, contingency planning, emergency response, and business continuity
• Implement governance frameworks supporting boards, executive forums, and governance committees
• Support the Resilience and Joint Operations Centre function in maintaining critical services and protecting customers, clients, and colleagues during disruptions, incidents, and crises
• Partner strategically with the Executive on enterprise-wide priorities, governance, organizational effectiveness, and transformation delivery
• Drive organizational transformation and simplification initiatives
• Represent the Executive in governance, strategic planning, and decision-making discussions

• Experience of working with ExCo leadership in the delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives
• Strong understanding of functional financials and P&Ls
• Confidence to drive, challenge and course-correct where needed
• Proven experience supporting a resilience, crisis response, security operations, and/or risk management function
• Demonstrable experience of leading enterprise-wide initiatives
