Job Summary
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an Information Governance and Records Manager to strengthen our information governance and records management across the Trust. You will help ensure compliance with GDPR/FOIA and support the DSPT and data protection audits.
Working closely with senior IG leads, you will lead archiving services, provide guidance on information sharing and contracts, and promote best practices in records management across the organisation.
Qualifications- Masters degree or first degree and/or equivalent professional experience/qualifications
- Experience of information governance and records management in an NHS or similar setting
- Knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA 2018, FOIA/EIR, and related legislation
- Experience of leading IG function and archiving/records management initiatives
- Support IG strategies, policies, compliance and assurance.
- Advise on information governance requirements including data sharing and contracts.
- Lead the archiving service and ensure proper retention and destruction.
- Coordinate IG meetings and produce agendas, reports and minutes.
