the company is the Energy Intelligence Platform, turning energy complexity into seamless coordination. We help energy companies overcome today’s challenges while accelerating the shift to a clean, electrified future.
Our platform orchestrates millions of real-time decisions across homes, devices, markets and grids. By combining predictive algorithms with human-centred design, the company makes clean energy dependable, affordable and adaptive to everyday life.

What will I be doing? As Head of Product for Flex, you own the vision, strategy and commercial success of our residential VPP platform globally. You lead a product organisation of Product Managers embedded across our device integration, optimisation, monetisation and SaaS platform teams, and you sit on the Flex Leadership team alongside our Head of Engineering, jointly accountable for the performance of the whole Flex business.
Specifically, you will:
- Set and own the global product strategy for Flex, translating the company's company-level strategy into a roadmap spanning device integrations, multi-asset optimisation (EV, battery, solar, HEMS), monetisation and market access, and self-serve SaaS capabilities.
- Build and lead a high-performing product organisation - hiring, developing and retaining Product Managers of all levels, and identifying and growing the next generation of product leaders within Flex.
- Make the trade-off calls that matter: balance the needs of our two core client segments - energy retailers and device OEMs - defaulting to retailer priorities where they conflict, in line with Flex's strategy, while protecting the long-term health of the platform.
- Partner closely with the Head of Engineering and our Commercial and Partnerships teams to align product, technical and commercial strategy, and to make resourcing and investment decisions across Flex's product and engineering teams.
- Define annual goals and OKRs for Flex, aligned to the company's company strategy, and hold your organisation accountable for delivering measurable commercial and platform-quality outcomes.
- Be the client-facing expert for Flex product: lead demos and pitches for prospective retailer and OEM clients, contribute to proposals and pricing, and represent Flex's product practice at the company-wide and industry forums.
- Own the long-term roadmap narrative - kept current, accessible, and able to be told confidently to prospects and clients two years out - as well as internally to engineering, design, partnerships and commercial teams.
- Build and maintain your network with Product, Partnership, Engineering and Commercial leaders across the company, ensuring insight from Flex feeds into - and benefits from - the wider the company product strategy.
- Champion product craft and ways of working across Flex, raising the bar for discovery, prioritisation and measurable impact, in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment where judgement on trade-offs matters as much as vision.
