Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is a luxury hotel steeped in history, located just moments from Covent Garden and around the corner from Trafalgar Square in the heart of Westminster.
The hotel features 151 guestrooms and suites and blends historic character with contemporary design. Dining and bar experiences include Ekstedt at The Yard, a Scandinavian inspired restaurant celebrating open fire cooking, creative cocktails at the 40 Elephants Bar, an extensive whisky selection at Sibin, and Afternoon Tea in The Parlour.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Purchasing Executive role- Oversee the hotel’s purchasing, receiving, and cost-control processes to ensureaccurateandtimelyoperations.
- Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing products, obtaining quotations, reviewing pricing, resolving issues, and monitoring deliveries and invoices.
- Coordinate and support inventory control activities,ensuring appropriate stock levels, monitoring requisitions/transfers, and overseeing

Street inventory management. - Process and reconcile invoices, run financial reports (e.g., food flash reports, beverage margin analysis), and support month-end F&B financial procedures.
- Administer procurement and finance systems (e.g.,Birch Street,iCaps), including user setup, catalogue management, open PO review, and document updating.
- Support Cap Ex processes by liaising with suppliers, managing budgets, creating commitments, issuing POs, and processing
CapExinvoices and documentation. - Ensure receiving teams follow proper procedures, provide training, and verify daily completion of receiving and invoice processing.
- Participate in contract management activities, including reviewing financial impact, highlighting key considerations, andmaintainingupdated contract records.
You will be an organised, detail-focused professional with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You bring experience in purchasing, procurement, or finance operations—ideally within a hospitality, retail, or similarly fast-paced environment—where accuracy, compliance, and supplier coordination are essential.
You are confident working with financial data, conducting price and margin analysis, managing stock levels, and overseeing end-to-endpurchasingprocesses. Your experience includes using procurement or ERP systems (such asBirchStreetor similar platforms), managing catalogues or POs, and supporting month-end finance tasks.
You naturally build positive working relationships, whether collaborating with suppliers or supporting internal teams. You can manage multiple priorities, respond calmly to issues, andmaintainhigh standards of professionalism and integrity.
