Senior Operations Analyst

PANTA is looking for a client-minded Senior Operations Analyst to work alongside our Product Management and Technology teams to take our next-generation Index Operating System to market, onboard and support clients, and own the operational requirements for its further build-out.

This role is for an operations analyst who wants to spend time in front of clients and learn from everyday challenges in a fast-changing market across all asset classes. You will shape what we build, run demos, onboard clients and represent PANTA to some of the largest names in institutional investing.

PANTA’s clients can use our platform to operate their mandates themselves, or they can work with PANTA’s team on the design, backtesting, productionisation or ongoing calculation of their benchmarks and baskets.

The Role – Key Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of clients and their operational teams
• Configure, calculate and disseminate client indices where mandated
• Drive improvement initiatives across index and data operations
• Own corporate action and rebalance implementation, and drive further automation of our industry-leading corporate actions framework and rulebook processes
• Investigate, challenge and manage data providers, working with them to ensure data integrity and timeliness
• Capture client and operational feedback, write requirements and user stories, and support UAT and release testing with Product and Technology
• Represent PANTA externally at industry events, in webinars and in prospect conversations

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years in an index operations or portfolio management role
• Solid understanding of equity and equity-like instruments, including the treatment of corporate actions
• Good understanding of other asset classes, such as fixed income
• Strong analytical skills, with experience triaging issues and escalating them when required
• Excellent written and verbal communication: you can write the one-pager and then present it to the room
• Confidence in front of clients: demos, conversations, trials and public-facing forums
• Highly organised and proactive, and able to thrive in an early-stage startup with high ownership and pace
• Genuine interest in fintech, markets, data and institutional investment products

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern SaaS product development (Agile, Jira, discovery, QA cycles)
• Experience in capital markets, indexing, asset management or financial data platforms
• Strong Excel/data skills or the ability to engage with quantitative product concepts
