We are looking for a senior consultant relations professional to join our Global Consultant Relations team in London. Working closely with the Global Head of Consultant Relations, you will help set our global consultant strategy and represent the function with senior colleagues across Investment, Product and Sales.

You will work with global consultants across our full range of strategies:

• fixed income and credit
• equities (global, emerging, European, quantitative and thematic)
• liquid alternatives strategies (equity market neutral, multi-strategy hedge fund)
• private assets, through our partner boutiques and the wider New York Life Investments platform.

This is a senior position with real ownership and a high profile across the firm, and it suits someone who is commercially minded, collaborative and keen to grow Candriam’s footprint with global consultants worldwide.

Working closely with the Global Head of Consultant Relations, regional Sales teams and our investment teams, you will take a leading role in expanding our coverage of manager researchers, OCIO and investment consultants.

You will develop strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders, strengthen Candriam’s positioning and ratings, and help translate consultant engagement into commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Global Head of Consultant Relations to develop and execute a focused coverage strategy for global investment consultants and other influential stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manager researchers, research analysts and other key consultant stakeholders.
• Drive Candriam’s positioning with consultants, with a particular focus on securing and developing investment strategy ratings and converting them into business opportunities.
• Represent Candriam at key industry events and contribute to increasing our visibility and brand presence within the consultant community.
• Gather and analyse consultant and market feedback to provide valuable insights to Investment, Product and Sales teams and help inform product and distribution discussions.
• Deliver high-quality, technically robust presentations of Candriam’s investment capabilities to consultant audiences.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing across the Sales organisation around consultant developments, market trends and business opportunities.
• Provide structured feedback to investment, product and senior leadership teams on consultant sentiment, demand trends and competitive positioning.

Your Profile:

• Between 8-15 years of experience in some the following areas: consultant relations, investment consulting, manager research or institutional distribution.
• University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
