Overview:

A lovely family based in Central London is seeking an experienced, organised, and friendly Daily Nanny to care for their two children. The family consists of two adults and two children, aged 2 and 7. The primary responsibility will be caring for the 2-year-old, with some light, ad-hoc duties for the 7-year-old. The family is looking for a Nanny who is comfortable with occasional travel, typically for no longer than one week at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-time care for the 2-year-old child, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being.
  • Support the 7-year-old child with occasional duties, including light supervision and assistance as needed.
  • Organise and engage the 2-year-old in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
  • Arrange and attend playdates to encourage socialisation and development.
  • Assist with the child’s development, helping them achieve key milestones, and encouraging progress in various areas (e.g., motor skills, language, etc).
  • Travel with the family occasionally (usually up to one week at a time) for family holidays or trips.
  • Help with light household tasks related to the children (e.g., preparing meals, tidying up after play, etc).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Nanny, particularly with children aged 2.
  • The family is seeking a Norland-trained Nanny to provide expert care and development-focused support.
  • Strong understanding of child development and milestones, with the ability to encourage and support the child in achieving them.
  • Previous experience with long-term placements and proven longevity in previous Nanny roles.
  • Comfortable with travel for short trips.
  • Warm, friendly, and approachable personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable, organised, and able to manage time efficiently.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7.00am–7.00pm
  • Occasional travel required (no longer than one week at a time)
