About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to play a key role in the delivery of a broad range of building surveying and consultancy services.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and managing multiple projects from inception to completion.

* Undertaking building surveys, defect analysis, and condition assessments.

* Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.

* Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and improvement schemes.

* Providing professional advice on dilapidations, party wall matters, and building pathology.

* Supporting and mentoring junior team members.

* Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support ongoing business growth.

About the Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

* MRICS or FRICS qualified, with a strong technical background.

* Experienced across a variety of building surveying disciplines.

* Confident in client-facing roles, able to manage projects and relationships effectively.

* Commercially aware, with excellent communication and report-writing skills.

* Proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
