Role Overview :

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You’ll be working on a variety of bespoke builds across London and the Home Counties, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents

* Manage subcontractor procurement and valuations

* Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports

* Conduct site visits and liaise with project teams

* Assess and manage risk and value engineering opportunities

* Handle final accounts and project close-out

* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction industry

* Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects in the £500k–£5m range

* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS, BSc in Quantity Surveying)
