Senior Quantity Surveyor

An growing construction consultancy is seeking a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. This Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity offers responsibility for delivering professional quantity surveying services across a range of projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead on pre and post contract quantity surveying duties, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure strong commercial performance.

This Quantity Surveyor role provides the platform to manage schemes independently while supporting junior quantity surveyor colleagues and strengthening client relationships within a growing quantity surveying team.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a consultancy with an established presence across London and the South East. The business delivers projects across multiple sectors and continues to build long-term client partnerships.

The Role
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take ownership of projects throughout the lifecycle.

The role will include:
Undertaking pre and post contract duties
Preparing detailed cost plans and budgets
Managing tender documentation and procurement processes
Overseeing valuations, variations and final accounts
Producing regular cost reports and cashflow forecasts
Advising on contractual matters and risk management

The Senior Quantity Surveyor?
You will be commercially aware, client-facing and confident managing projects independently.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Strong knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts
Experience delivering projects within a consultancy or contractor environment
The ability to manage multiple schemes
Clear communication and stakeholder management skills

£65,000 - £75,000 pa (dependant on experience)
