Fit- Estimator

Position: Fit-out Estimator (Permanent)
This role offers exposure to high-profile London fit-out projects while working within a close-knit commercial team. You will gain direct visibility to senior decision-makers and play an active role in shaping tender submissions and commercial strategy.

For the right individual, this position offers a clear pathway toward Senior Estimator level as the business continues to expand its market footprint.

Responsibilities

* Preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects

* Analysing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

* Measuring quantities and preparing take-offs

* Managing subcontractor enquiries and negotiating pricing

* Building and maintaining strong supply chain relationships

* Preparing tender submissions and supporting bid documentation

* Identifying value engineering opportunities

* Conducting risk assessments during tender stage

* Supporting handover to delivery teams post-award

Criteria for the Role

* 2–5 years’ experience in estimating within the fit-out or interiors sector

* Experience pricing commercial refurbishment or CAT A / CAT B projects

* Strong understanding of construction methodologies and market rates

* Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately

* Strong numerical and analytical skills

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar (preferred)

* Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
