An established high-end residential developer is now seeking a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead financial delivery across luxury projects in London. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of full lifecycle quantity surveying duties, acting as the key commercial contact on site. This Quantity Surveyor role will involve managing budgets, contracts and risk while delivering professional quantity surveying services from feasibility through to completion.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with internal teams and clients, ensuring strong cost control and structured quantity surveying processes across multiple schemes.

The Company?
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a residential development business with over 40 years' experience delivering bespoke projects across London. The organisation operates with a hands-on management team and maintains a steady pipeline of repeat client work.

The Role
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take responsibility for the financial and contractual performance of projects throughout the lifecycle.

The role will include:

Preparing detailed cost plans, budgets and feasibility studies
Managing tender documentation, bills of quantities and contract preparation
Negotiating contracts and procurement strategies
Monitoring variations, change control and cost reporting
Undertaking risk and value management
Overseeing valuations, payments and final accounts
Producing detailed financial and progress reports

The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
Strong understanding of building contracts
Experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
MRICS Chartered status desirable
