About the role

Our client is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support construction and civil engineering projects across London. This is a site-based role focused on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring legislative compliance, and providing practical H&S guidance to project teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver day-to-day health & safety support across live construction projects

* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

* Ensure compliance with company SHE policies and UK H&S legislation

* Support development, review, and implementation of RAMS and safe systems of work

* Lead toolbox talks, briefings, and safety training sessions

* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

* Monitor, report, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance

* Liaise with project teams, contractors, clients, and statutory bodies

Requirements

* Experience as a Health & Safety Advisor on construction or civil engineering projects

* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)

* Strong knowledge of construction H&S legislation and best practice

* Excellent communication and influencing skills

* CSCS card (appropriate level)

* Full UK driving licence preferred
