Health & Safety Advisor

About the Role
Our client is a leading enabling and specialist contractor delivering complex projects across demolition, earthworks, remediation, infrastructure, and construction. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support major projects across London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide day-to-day H&S support across demolition, enabling, and construction projects

* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

* Ensure compliance with company procedures and UK H&S legislation

* Deliver toolbox talks, site briefings, and safety training

* Support the development and review of RAMS and safe systems of work

* Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies

* Promote a proactive, positive safety culture across all sites

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within construction, demolition, civil engineering, or enabling works

* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)

* Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and industry best practice

* Excellent communication and reporting skills

* CSCS card (appropriate level)

* Full UK driving licence preferred
