A Main Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team in London. This is a pivotal role supporting a wide range of projects across passive fire protection, fire stopping, fire doors, and wider compliance works.

The Role – Quantity Surveyor

* Managing commercial aspects of fire protection projects from tender through to final account

* Preparing valuations, variations, cost reports, and contractual documentation

* Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure accurate cost control

* Supporting procurement, subcontractor management, and commercial forecasting

* Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications

What We’re Looking For in a for a Quantity Surveyor

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fire protection, passive fire, fire stopping, or wider construction

* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of JCT/NEC contracts

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills

* Based in London but is nationwide
