Setting Out Engineer

Criterion Capital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Setting Out Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate site setting out, surveying works, and ensuring construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Carry out setting out and surveying works for buildings, infrastructure, and related construction activities.
• Use total stations, level machines, and other surveying instruments accurately and efficiently.
• Calculate coordinates, levels, and dimensions required for site execution.
• Prepare and generate computer-based survey reports and as-built data.
• Conduct site mark-ups and ensure correct alignment, positioning, and elevations of works.
• Interpret and work closely with construction drawings, shop drawings, and design plans.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve setting out issues.
• Ensure surveying activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in setting out and surveying works within construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in operating different types of total stations and level machines

• Strong ability to calculate coordinates and produce accurate survey reports.
• Proven experience in site mark-ups and setting out works.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under site conditions.
