Fire Protection Supervisor (Sprinklers)

A leading fire‑protection contractor is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Supervisor (Sprinklers) to support the delivery of residential sprinkler installation projects across the UK. The Role

As a Fire Protection Supervisor (Sprinklers), you will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest compliance standards. You will manage trades and subcontractors, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure all works meet industry and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee residential sprinkler installation projects, ensuring full compliance with industry standards (including BMTRADA or equivalent).

* Carry out quality checks, spot inspections, and ensure accurate data entry into systems such as Simpro.

* Manage site setup, stock, deliveries, welfare, pre‑condition surveys, and post‑installation inspections.

* Identify variations and report them promptly to the Project Manager.

* Lead and support trades and subcontractors, resolving issues and maintaining productivity.

* Deliver system training (e.g., Simpro) to site teams and subcontractors.

* Attend pre‑start meetings and maintain a professional, well‑presented site environment.

* Provide weekly progress updates to clients and maintain clear communication with residents where required.

* Implement and enforce all Health & Safety policies, including inductions, toolbox talks, and regular audits.

Key Requirements

* Proven experience working with residential sprinkler systems (commercial/industrial sprinkler experience also considered).

* Strong background in supervising fire‑protection or mechanical installation projects.

* Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

* Confident problem‑solver with a proactive, resilient approach.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.

* Demonstrates leadership, accountability, and a positive team‑focused attitude.
