A leading PMO specialist is seeking a talented Risk Management professional with experience in construction or infrastructure projects to join their growing London team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop. You will work closely with a highly experienced senior risk professional who is committed to mentoring and supporting your career progression. In addition, you'll gain exposure to wider project controls disciplines, including planning and cost management, helping you build a well-rounded project delivery skillset.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects across a range of sectors, including airports, energy, defence & security, nuclear and rail.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific risk management frameworks and processes
Lead and facilitate risk identification workshops with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and external partners
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date risk registers, ensuring risks and opportunities are fully assessed and clearly articulated
Provide expert advice on risk mitigation strategies and support decision-making across projects
Conduct quantitative risk analysis (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations) and present insights to senior stakeholders
Produce high‑quality risk reports, dashboards, and recommendations for project leadership
Collaborate closely with HSE, commercial, planning, and design teams to embed robust risk management practices
Drive continuous improvement by integrating best practice risk management into everyday project delivery
About You
- Job Requirements
Proven experience in risk management within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or similar project environments
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., NEC, JCT, RIBA stages)
Experience using risk analysis tools such as Active Risk Manager, @RISK, or Safran Risk
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Clear and confident communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across multi‑disciplinary groups
Professional qualifications (e.g., IRM, APM Risk Certificate) are beneficial but not essential
