Permanent | Site-Based A leading specialist contractor delivering large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects across the UK is expanding its commercial team and is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support major live projects. This organisation is known for repeat delivery to blue-chip technology clients, strong commercial governance, and structured career progression from junior to senior commercial leadership. You will support the commercial management of a major data centre project, gaining exposure to cost control, subcontractor management, and commercial reporting on a fast-paced, high-value build.

Key Responsibilities Assist with cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting Support procurement and subcontractor package management Assist in the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts Maintain accurate commercial records and cost reports Work closely with site and project teams to support commercial delivery Develop strong knowledge of data centre construction and commercial processes Requirements Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management 14 years experience in construction or engineering environments Strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills Ambition to progress within a commercial career path Whats on Offer Long-term data centre project pipeline Structured progression to QS and Senior QS level Exposure to complex, high-value projects Supportive commercial team and mentoring environment
