This is a progressive role well suited to someone with some estimating experience in any internal trade — including M&E — whether that's from a subcontractor, main contractor, or project/quantity surveying background. You'll work closely with an experienced commercial team, developing huge breadth of exposure across cost planning, tender preparation and pricing. About the Role — What You'll Be DoingWorking from the Erith head office, you will be an active member of the estimating team, supporting bids across a range of high-profile construction projects (internal finishes, façades, glazing and metalwork packages).

You'll:

• Support pre-construction and tender submissions by preparing take-offs and costings.
• Collaborate with senior estimators to build competitive, accurate proposals.
• Analyse supplier pricing and market rates to optimise estimates.
• Learn to interpret specifications, drawings and schedules of works.
• Contribute to commercial risk analysis and value engineering discussions.

• Some estimating experience (any internal trade, including M&E, subcontractor or contractor background).
• Keen attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• A relevant qualification (HNC/HND/degree) in construction, surveying or engineering is beneficial but not essential.
