The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple residential developments from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with operational and technical teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position would suit an established Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in house building or residential construction, looking to join a collaborative and forward-thinking business.
Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of residential developments Preparation and management of project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Preparation, negotiation, and agreement of subcontractor accounts Monitor project expenditure and identify commercial risks and opportunities Produce accurate monthly valuations and financial reporting Work closely with site teams to maintain cost control and programme alignment Assist in tender analysis and procurement strategy Ensure contractual compliance and effective risk management Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required Final account negotiation and project close-out
