Site Agent Major Highways Scheme Didcot, Oxfordshire Salary - £60-65,000 per annum  Car Allowance  Bonus  Benefits Our client, a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team on a major highways improvement scheme in Didcot. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a high-profile infrastructure project, managing site operations and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and within budget.

The Role As Site Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of works, managing site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring project objectives are achieved in line with contractual and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities Manage the successful delivery of highways and infrastructure works on site. Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and plant resources. Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures. Monitor programme, productivity, quality, and cost performance. Prepare and review RAMS, work package plans, and site documentation. Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, and key stakeholders. Support commercial and planning teams in achieving project objectives.

Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements. Identify and manage project risks and opportunities. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering or highways construction. Experience delivering major highways, roads, earthworks, drainage, structures, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and project delivery processes. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications. HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
