We are currently recruiting for an experienced Passive Fire Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial passive fire protection projects across London and Essex
.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work, delivering high-quality passive fire protection solutions across a range of commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple Passive Fire Protection projects from pre-start through to completion.
- Oversee large-scale commercial fire stopping installations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and main contractors, maintaining excellent working relationships.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets and resource allocation.
- Carry out regular site visits, quality inspections and progress meetings.
- Ensure all works comply with current fire safety regulations, specifications and certification requirements.
- Review RAMS, site documentation and health & safety procedures.
- Produce project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Manage project handovers and close-out documentation.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within the Passive Fire Protection industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial fire stopping systems and installation methods.
- Experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Good commercial awareness and programme management experience.
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience managing intumescent paint spraying projects.
- Knowledge of fire doors, cavity barriers and compartmentation works.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
- FIRAS or IFC-related knowledge and certification experience.
