About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Safety Remediation Apprentice to join our team based in Central London.
The successful candidate will report to the Regional Programme Delivery Manager and work under the supervision of the Building Safety Remediation Team to support the organisation of building safety investigations and the delivery of remediation projects.
As part of the team, you will help coordinate investigations and remediation activities, building effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners. You will also gain valuable experience within the housing sector as you develop the knowledge and skills needed for your Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor apprenticeship.
You will complete your apprenticeship milestones through the Apprenticeship Academy and will be given dedicated study time to support your learning and progress.
The salary is dependent on your age, and is above Government recommendations for National Minimum Wage and Living Wage (please note all salaries include an additional local job supplement of £2,000):
Under 18: £19,094 per annum
18-20: £25,184 per annum
21 & Over: £27,895 per annum
Key responsibilities of the role
Actively engage with and follow the guidance provided by your mentor, manager, and the Building Safety Remediation Team.
Work towards and complete all apprenticeship milestones on schedule, keeping accurate records to demonstrate progress.
Adhere to all requirements set out in the Apprentice Contract Agreement.
Successfully complete a Level 4 CIOB Construction Apprenticeship (36 months).
Build the knowledge and practical skills needed to support building safety remediation projects, including assisting customers and stakeholders with related enquiries.
Essential
Qualifications:
Level 2 (GCSE C or 4 or higher) in Maths and English.
Desirable qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in a sustainability/energy efficiency related subject.
Two A levels or equivalent.
